twisted dreams and laser beams
      darkness abounds and chaos prevails
      choose your own madness
      thats the only guarantee
      that you'll go insane, lose your mind, or
      maybe just hold on partially to sanity 
      but the decision that lead ya there
      will be yours and yours alone
      from the street lights to candle lights
      what is it that can penetrate the darkness
      that pierce the body, mind, heart, 
      and the soul
      concrete fantasies and fields of lily's
      screaming noise and quiet yells
      banging and rattling below the
     level of consciousness
      ice cream cones and broken bones
      twisted carts and broken hearts
      cars and bars   briars and liars
    does it ever end???
     what does it matter circles and squares
     straight or crooked 
      is there any real difference?
      so where to go from here
      seems I am already there....
      although where there is 
      escapes me
      forever inching itself just ahead of me
      keeping just ahead of mental grasp
      making sure to keep us 
      striving for and of any truth 
      to keep the place jumpin'
      and jolted, jammin' and slammin'
      to a music that can't be heard
      the private tune of eternity 
      the price of prison
      the aborment of aeration
      the delight of enlightenment
      basking in the darkness
      the sadness and madness
      the confusion of illusion
      an illusion of enlightenment
      too bad
      you'd think we'd figure it out
      hell no why do that
      instead muddle along in a
      state of euphoria
      wondering why me why me
      god, the devil, angels, or demons
      its good to blame isn't it?
      is it?
      is it understanding that there is
      no order to anything
      the understanding of anything
    in life is everything thats in chaotic 
      bliss
      back to the beginning again aye?

      everything starts that way though
      but as soon as its gone its
      forgotten the feeling is lost
      at least for the most part
      the thrill of the kill
      the shock
      the thought the emotion
      the intangible feeling
      I won't lose it
      it'll never go away 
      maybe it already has though
      maybe that isn't desired however
      and I'll just hang onto it 
      awhile longer
     as said time can't be predicted
     and life is always erratic...............
